Summer Camp Prototypes

For about 4-5 years starting in 2017 I would annually attend a 1-2 week long game design summer camp held at the University of Georgia. This was the very beginning of my game development journey, I was really unsure about what kind of career I wanted, but I knew I really liked video games so I gave it a shot, and needless to say, it was love at first sight.

While the projects from this period are obviously primitive; they were made in 1-2 weeks by a total amateur, I still look back at them fondly, both for their nostalgic value and the role they served in getting me to where I am today. It was where I learned to program, how to make pixel art, how to use Unity, so many foundational moments can be traced back to this camp.

To my fellow campers and especially my instructors, thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
